RSTC buses operate on a regular basis and travel to Ahmedabad (11 hours), Ajmer (four and a half hours), Bikaner (five and a half hours), Jaipur (seven and a half hours), Jaisalmer (just over five hours), New Delhi (13 hours), and also Udaipur (just over five hours). Private bus transport is also available, with offices being located across from the railway station and close to the Ranchodji Temple.

The Jodhpur to Jaisalmer Express Train departs every night at around 23:00 and arrives in Jaisalmer some six hours later, and vice versa.
